Who handles your data?

Why do we collect data?

Your name, phone number or email and car requirements are used to respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote. Providing data is voluntary, but we need one contact method to reply. This does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

When you request a quote for yourself, we process data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). For other correspondence, including contact with company representatives, we rely on the controller’s legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Article 6(1)(f)).

Partnership applications

We use your name, city or region, phone or email, experience summary and optional CV or professional profile link to review your application and discuss a partnership. Applications are accessible only to authorised staff and infrastructure providers. Applying does not subscribe you to a newsletter. The access, retention and data subject rights described below apply.

PDF specifications and email offers

When you request a PDF, we save your email address, chosen vehicle, request date and delivery status to handle your request. You can receive the specification without subscribing to marketing. We only use your address for DriveWave email offers and news if you select the separate optional consent box (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). We record the consent date and wording version. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting kontakt@drivewave.pl; this does not affect processing before withdrawal.

Access and retention

Your enquiry is accessible to authorised DriveWave staff and the infrastructure providers supporting this site. This site uses Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Our business email provider is home.pl; correspondence is handled by authorised DriveWave staff. Enquiry data is not displayed in the car catalogue.

We retain data while handling your enquiry and related arrangements. If a contract is concluded, contractual documentation governs further retention. Any longer retention connected with claims lasts until the applicable limitation period expires.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing and, where the law provides, data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and complain to the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO). Send requests to kontakt@drivewave.pl.

Form security

To limit spam, we use a daily counter based on a hash of your IP address. We do not make automated purchasing or financing decisions. The site has no advertising pixels placed by us. The staff panel requires employee authentication.

Page view statistics

We count aggregate page and vehicle views per day. We also record the IP address, visited page, view count and last view time for traffic analysis. These records are available only to authorised staff in a 30-day reporting window. Older records are removed on the next statistics write or read; there is currently no independent scheduled cleanup. This measurement does not use cookies. An IP address does not uniquely identify a person. Aggregate counts older than 365 days are removed on the next page-view write.

Assistant and browser preferences

The website loads the home.pl assistant widget from homepl.ai-voicereceptionist.com. Connecting transmits technical data such as your IP address to the provider. If you use a conversation, its content is sent to the assistant provider to handle your enquiry. According to information supplied by home.pl, the assistant does not save audio recordings. It creates a brief summary, emailed to our business inbox and displayed in the service’s call history. We use the summary to handle your enquiry under the principles described above. home.pl provides the service in cooperation with IONOS SE and states that assistant data is stored in the European Economic Area. The 30-day statistics period does not apply to conversation summaries. Contact us to request access to or deletion of a summary. Do not provide passwords or payment details. Your currency choice is stored locally in your browser; catalogue scroll position is stored for the session. You can remove these preferences by clearing website data.
